Our Peachtree City Kids Ministry recently came together for a meaningful service project that touched many lives. The Lambs and Tweens groups packed 50 meal bags for families in need. Each bag included a coupon for a turkey or ham, four sides, and a brownie mix. This teamwork and generosity helped our youngest members extend Christ’s love beyond our walls!
Blessing Foster Families through Bloom
Forty-five of the meal bags will be sent to Bloom Foster Care in Fayetteville, GA. Bloom Foster Care, also known as Bloom Fosters, is a non-profit that supports children in the foster care system. They recruit and train foster families, provide clothing and school supplies, and prepare young adults for independence. Learn more about their incredible work at bloomfosters.org.
Supporting Inner-City Families through AIM
The remaining five meal bags will be donated to AIM, the Atlanta Inner-City Ministry. AIM partners with inner-city Atlanta families to raise strong, Christian adults. Their mission aligns beautifully with our church’s heart for service and outreach. To discover more about AIM’s ministry, visit aimatlanta.org.
Part of a Bigger Mission
Both Bloom and AIM are key partners in the missions effort of Peachtree City Church of Christ. Our Peachtree City Kids Ministry was excited to contribute to this ongoing work. To learn more about our broader missions initiatives, visit ptcchurch.com/missions.
Thank You for Giving and Serving
We deeply appreciate every church member who donated groceries and every child who packed a bag. Their hands and hearts brought this project to life! Together, our Peachtree City Kids Ministry continues to show that small acts of service can make a lasting impact for God’s glory.
