Walk4Water

with healing hands international

The average distance to walk for water is four miles, if there is even any water to be found. This pattern is not sustainable and stunts the growth of families and individuals everywhere. This is why we Walk4Water.

Walk4Water is a fundraising program within Healing Hands International that helps support its Clean Water program. Starting in 2007, Walk4Water has hosted events in communities all over the nation at schools, churches, and organizations.

The goal is to bring the life-saving gift of clean water to those who need it so desperately. Since 2001, we are grateful to share over 1,500 clean water wells have been drilled in over twenty countries. The impact is exponential — clean water leads to abundant life!

At Peachtree City Church of Christ, we are honored to have a great relationship with Healing Hands International and partner with them in this effort every year.

How last year's walk went...

Peachtree City Church hosted our first Walk4Water event in 2020. Because of Covid, we decided not to gather for that inaugural walk. Each year that we have continued to host a walk, we have been astonished by the exponential growth of both participants and funds raised. Our church and surrounding community have rallied behind this effort. In 2024, we raised more than $200,000 and built 28 new wells around the world. We were especially inspired when one of those wells resulted in a church plant and ten baptisms. Praise God!
