Summer 2026 is here, and we are excited for what’s happening in the Peachtree City Student Ministry. When school ends, students gain opportunities to grow spiritually, build friendships, and strengthen Christian relationships. Therefore, every event on our calendar supports our mission of helping students find eternal life while experiencing an abundant life. Rather than filling schedules, we focus on helping students grow closer to Jesus.
Meet Our Summer Interns
This summer, we welcome Griffin Burbage and Jordan Barber to our ministry team. Griffin, a Health Science major at Faulkner University, demonstrates that ministry extends beyond vocational roles. Meanwhile, Jordan is preparing for youth and family ministry and brings a passion for discipleship. Throughout the summer, both interns will teach classes, mentor students, and participate in camps and events. As a result, students will gain valuable Christian mentors who can encourage their faith.
Why Summer Ministry Matters
Summer is one of the most important seasons for spiritual growth. Students have more time to invest in relationships, service, and faith formation. Because of this, we intentionally prioritize opportunities that help students articulate their faith, identify Christian mentors, and understand their place in the church. In fact, every camp, conference, and service project reflects our commitment to the Peachtree City Student Ministry.
Highlights of Summer 2026
Our summer calendar includes meaningful opportunities for connection and growth. Students have alreadt enjoyed fellowship events like the Braves Game and Summer Kick-Off. Additionally, Camp Inagehi provides a week focused on worship, Bible study, and spiritual development. Mission: Atlanta helps students practice their faith through service, while Legacy at Faulkner encourages them through worship and Christian community. Finally, Guys’ Night, Girls’ Night, the Junior-Senior Trip, and the End of Summer Bash create opportunities for mentorship, celebration, and belonging.
Investing in the Next Generation
Everything we do points toward long-term spiritual growth. Students are not merely the future of the church; they are an important part of the church today. Consequently, we invest in internships, camps, conferences, and service opportunities that help students develop lasting faith. We believe Summer 2026 will be an impactful one for the Peachtree City Student Ministry – one that strengthens relationships, deepens faith, and helps students discover their place in God’s Kingdom.
