Our Week at Camp Inagehi 2025
From June 8–13, about 200 campers and staff gathered in Douglasville, Alabama, for an impactful week at Camp Inagehi! Many of that number were from our congregration at the Peachtree City Church of Christ – joining friends from across south Atlanta to share the week together. This Christian summer camp focused on the theme Inside Out, based on 2 Corinthians 4, reminding everyone that God transforms lives from within.
Daily Activities
Each day was filled with activities that brought tons of joy! There were theme days that included Surf’s Up, Camo Day, Pirate Night, and Pajama and Board Game Night. Campers competed in ball field sports, enjoyed Water Day, and shared talents at the camp-wide talent show. Paddle boats, pool time, craft sessions, and daily canteen treats set the days at our Christian summer camp over the top!

Growing Spiritually
Spiritual growth was at the heart of the week. Classes each morning explored lessons from biblical figures, while chapels and evening worship services encouraged campers to live faithfully from the inside out. Cabin devotionals provided time for quiet reflection and deeper conversations. These moments helped campers and staff apply God’s Word to their everyday lives – and build Christian bonds!
From the Inside Out
The theme emphasized God’s power to renew hearts. Forgiveness is the starting point, but transformation continues day by day. Though life brings struggles, God promises strength, hope, and renewal. Campers left with the reminder that what is unseen is eternal, and God is shaping His people.
A Celebration of New Life
One of the week came late in the week when Alaina Dickerson was baptized! We were thrilled when she made the decision to follow Christ and begin a new life. This moment reflected the mission of Christian summer camp: to draw hearts closer to God!
